Blueair’s most advanced filter, SmartFilter is designed to deliver superior performance. One particle filter layer and one active carbon filter layer combine to remove gas, odors, smoke, VOCs, exhaust, smog, and chemicals from the air. The two main filters are attached at the top, so when removing the filters you can just fold them over like a booklet to keep dust and pollutants from escaping. A smart RFID chip even tracks use and notifies you through the Blueair app when it is time to replace it, with a maximum 1 year lifetime.
Hidden wheels allow you to easily move the air purifier anywhere in the room, and the cord can be adjusted to the perfect length with a convenient winder.
Simple push-out cassettes trap large particles before they enter the air purifier, extending the life of the main filter.

The technology used in HealthProtect™ air purifiers is the combination of the HEPASilent Ultra™, Germshield™ and SpiralAir technologies™.
HEPASilent Ultra™ is a combination of mechanical and electrostatic filtration, which ensures particle removal and gas reduction. Compared to the HEPASilent technology (used with Blueair Classic and JOY air purifiers), the new Ultra™ technology combines an optimised fan system, engineered in Sweden by Blueair, optimised electrostatic filtration and an improved filter.
Germ growth may happen when temperature and humidity levels are high. The Germshield™ functionality is designed to prevent germ growth inside the air purifier when the air purifier is not in use.

The Blueair SmartFilter is the only filter available for the HealthProtect™ air purifiers.
It consists of two filters attached by a strap at the top. Each filter has a particle filter media and activated carbon.
The HealthProtect™ air purifiers also have two pre-filters that can be cleaned with a dust cloth or by using the soft brush of a vacuum cleaner.
