Your Blueair humidifier is safe to use with clean water of your choice, including tap.
- Note: the use of tap water may increase the buildup of minerals and staining on your wick, depending on the source and quality of your tap water.
To clean, remove the wick filter from the filter cage and rinse under running water. For a deeper clean, soak with mild or citric acid cleanser, 20g citric acid for every 1L of water for 1 hour, then rinse well under running tap water according to the instructions in the user manual.
Clean your humidifier at least once a week, or more frequently with regular usage. Always disconnect the device from power prior to cleaning.
- Water tank: Clean the water tank using a mild detergent. Wipe the water tank dry before reassembling.
- Wick filter: Soak with mild or acid cleanser. 20g citric acid for every 1L of water for 1 hour. Rinse well under running tap water
- Upper Body: Wipe the body with a soft, dry, or damp cloth to remove dust. Do not submerge in water.
The Blueair H35i humidifier uses evaporative technology which pulls water molecules from the wet wick filter and dispenses it into the air, there will be no visible mist coming from the device.
To extend the limited warranty from one year to three (3) years, simply complete the product registration form in the 'Warranty' section of your customer account within (60) days of purchase, or register through the Blueair mobile app.
